A modern house of volcanic Sicilian essentials

LUMA is conceived as a house, guided by selection and continuity.

We work from a single volcanic origin, releasing only what aligns with our internal standards of clarity, structure, and balance.

Decisions are shaped over time, with attention to material, place, and purpose.
This first expression establishes the framework. Everything that follows will remain consistent with it.

  • Volcanic Sicilian origin

Our oil comes from the Etna area, where volcanic soil, altitude, and coastal air shape naturally green, phenolic-rich olives.

  • Measurable purity

Each micro-lot is selected for low free acidity, strong phenolic structure, and sensory clarity — verified through accredited lab testing and expert evaluation.

  • Minimal ritual & design

A simple daily practice shaped by origin.
A quiet, modern design that lets the oil speak.
A clean, concentrated finishing oil for everyday Mediterranean cooking.

The Taste of Etna

LUMA’s flavor is naturally green and lifted, shaped by the volcanic landscape around Mount Etna.

It adds freshness and depth to vegetables, grains, salads, and fresh fish — without overpowering the ingredients.

In Mediterranean culture, olive oil is used generously and naturally across meals — not as a supplement, but as a daily essential.

  • Mediterranean Habit

In Mediterranean culture, olive oil is used naturally throughout the day — in preparation, cooking, and finishing.

LUMA fits into this rhythm as a daily essential, shaped by origin rather than instruction.

  • Everyday Finishing

Use LUMA primarily as a finishing oil to preserve aroma and phenolic character.

Enjoy it raw or gently warmed with food. Avoid high-heat frying.

A precise finishing oil that elevates simple ingredients.

  • Natural Richness

Naturally rich in polyphenols, LUMA is real Sicilian food — crafted for Mediterranean daily life.

It fits a nutrition-aware lifestyle without relying on supplement-style claims.

LUMA micro-lot

Only a small number of early-harvest oils meet LUMA’s standards.

We use a strict framework to select exceptional micro-lots from the Etna area, based on fruit integrity, phenolic structure, and sensory clarity.

Only lots meeting these criteria are released under the LUMA name.

  • Fruit integrity — early-picked olives with naturally low free acidity.
  • Phenolic richness — high polyphenols linked to flavor, stability, and vitality.
  • Sensory clarity — a green, structured, defect-free profile confirmed by expert tasting.

These are the standards each micro-lot must meet to become LUMA.
